Terms of Service - Going Global with Barbara, LLC

 

Going Global programs require advance commitments to airlines, lodging, transportation, and program vendors. Payments made through WeTravel, PayPal, PayPal Pay Later, credit card, or bank transfer are subject to the terms below.


All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.


Refund Schedule

  • 60+ days before departure:
    100% of payments refunded minus the non-refundable deposit, any non-refundable vendor fees (including airfare and attraction tickets), and a 10% non-refundable administrative fee.
  • 30–59 days before departure:
    50% of payments refunded minus the non-refundable deposit and any non-refundable vendor fees.
  • Less than 30 days before departure:
    No program refund. Participants may pursue reimbursement through Allianz, subject to policy terms.


Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method and processed within 30 days of receipt of a written cancellation request.


Travel Insurance 

Going Global provides medical insurance coverage for every traveler participating in the Youth Travel program. Trip Cancellation or Cancel Anytime Insurance can be purchased as optional add-ons, offering travelers the flexibility to cancel their trip at any time for any reason. Insurance coverage is governed by the terms of the issuing insurer, and premiums are non-refundable once a policy is issued. Going Global does not guarantee claim approval and does not control claim determinations. These options help ensure peace of mind by providing reimbursement for eligible expenses beyond the included medical insurance, allowing participants to confidently plan their journeys while being protected against unexpected changes.


Payment Plans & Chargebacks

Payment plans do not alter this policy. Chargebacks do not override agreed terms and may result in removal from the program and forfeiture of funds.


Force Majeure

Refunds and program changes may be limited or adjusted due to events beyond Going Global’s control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government advisories, or transportation disruptions.


Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
